We receive your details when you place an order. When placing an order, we need to know your name, address, credit or debit card details, telephone number and email address. This is so that we can process and fulfil your order, notify you of your order status and, if you choose, send you our regular email newsletter.

Your details also allow us to enhance your overall shopping experience, providing a more personalised website. They also help us monitor how you use our site and buy from it; so that we can develop the design and layout, and recommend items we think you may be interested in.

Giving us your details means we can also tell you about any changes we make, or inform you of any important and exciting VisioSound news. We use Cookies to recognise registered customers. Security Policy

We know that you care how information about you is used - rest assured, when you shop with us, your credit card and personal information will be treated with the highest standards of safety, security and confidentiality. We do not store any credit or debit card details either on our server on as a paper copy.

Secure Shopping

When you place an order we offer the use of a secure server. We encrypt your details, in particular your credit card information, before you send it to us, meaning that ONLY the receiver of the information (i.e. PROTX / Barclays Merchant Services clearing system) can read this information. To do this we use the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption method (when in use you will see the padlock at the bottom of the browser) which is the recognized standard for secure transactions.

VisioSound will never request information that is excessive for our purpose, and we try, with your help, to keep any information we hold about you up to date and accurate. Any information we store that is no longer relevant will be deleted after a reasonable length of time.

You can request, at any time, that we stop using your information and sending you our newsletter, by notifying us at sales@visiosound.co.uk. We apologise if you continue to receive our newsletter whilst we process your request.
